Guitar building | Fabricacion de guitarras
The guitar building is a laborious process, made with care by the luthier. The luthier begins this guitar building with the selection of wood for musical instruments, minding different woods that provide different qualities or different sounds. Right then, the guitar building continues with the manufacture of the guitar components. In this building it is important that the wood is dry, because wet wood can bend the guitar or break it during its use.
La fabricacion de guitarras es un proceso laborioso y artesanal, realizado con el máximo cuidado por parte del luthier. El luthier comienza por la selección de la madera para instrumentos musicales, teniendo en cuenta que maderas diferentes proporcionan también cualidades acústicas o sonidos diferentes. A partir de ahí, la fabricacion de guitarras continua con la realización de los componentes propios de las guitarras o instrumentos correspondientes. Es importante que la madera esté seca, ya que la utilización de madera húmeda puede producir que la guitarra se doble o incluso se parta durante su manipulación.
